Sweet Peas Learning Center is a new licensed daycare facility located in Bergenfield, NJ in the county of Bergen. It occupies around 4,000 sq. ft. of indoor space and can serve up to 53 children from age 6 weeks to 12 years old. Our facilities are open from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Our programs are built around the concept of learning while playing because we believe that at this age, children learn mainly through play. We capitalize on children's play to further language development (storytelling and dramatic play), improve social skills (working together to build a castle from blocks), and introduce scientific and mathematical concepts (balancing and counting blocks when building a bridge).

At Sweet Peas, children learn about trust, gain a sense of security, and build self-esteem through our teachers' guidance and help. Activities are organized to stimulate the children's physical, emotional, intellectual and social growth.

Our teachers and caregivers are carefully chosen based on their dedication and love for children. Most of our teachers are also parents themselves. All of our staff members have met the qualifications set by the State of New Jersey and have passed the state required background checks.

As part of our commitment to make sure all children under our care will be safe at all times, we require all our staff members to undergo CPR training under the auspices of the American Red Cross.
